Good quality Gore Tex seems to be divided nowadays between Performance Shell and Pro Shell. By perusing the Gore-Tex website and having a look at prices, it appears Pro Shell is the top of the line product... with a price tag to match!

新的PRO SHELL, 跟SOFT SHELL不曉得定位在哪裡？ XCR是 extra comfortable range（過去是排氣量最高，以前最高級），PACLITE是 pack light （折起來最小），其他可能再請"一些小朋友"去瞭解.....

達新雨衣的防水&透氣能力都不如Gore-tex。 達新目前最高等級的防水透氣材料是T-core WF 防水是4000 (mm) 透氣是3500 (g/m^2/24hr) 而gore-tex薄膜分為三個等級，由高到低依序是 防水/透氣↓ 1. pro shell (以前叫XCR) 28000/25000 2. performance shell 28000/25000 3. paclite 28000/15000 結論: (一)達新被電的蠻慘的。

Gore-Tex常常被誤認為是品牌，Gore-Tex是一種薄膜技術，最厲害的特點是每平方英吋約有90億個水滴無法穿透的細小透氣孔，能排汗防水，又能保持高透氣性，因此能一次擁有防風、防水及高透氣性。
